PCB Announces Free Entry for National Champions Cup 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that fans will be able to attend matches at the National Champions Cup 2026 at no cost. The tournament will take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium from August 11 to 18 and will consist of seven matches in a round-robin format. The four competing teams are Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues, and Pakistan Gold.

The top two teams will advance to the final on August 18. Prominent Pakistan players like Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Sahibzada Farhan will participate. Shadab Khan will captain Pakistan Greens, Saim Ayub will lead Pakistan Whites, Sahibzada Farhan will captain Pakistan Blues, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead Pakistan Gold.

The PCB has introduced fixed playing XIs for each team, along with a 13-player reserve pool that can replace injured or concussed players. The selected 44 players, along with the reserve pool, have been chosen in preparation for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, which will be held in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

This tournament provides an opportunity for national selectors to evaluate players and identify emerging talent ahead of the World Cup.
