Nii Lantey Vanderpuye confident of winning NDC chairmanship

Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, a former National Coordinator of the District Road Improvement Programme, expresses certainty of emerging victorious in the National Democratic Congress' quest for the top leadership position. His assurance arises from years of unwavering dedication to the party, coupled with his extensive experience spanning grassroots, parliamentary, governmental, and presidential roles.

Mr Vanderpuye described himself as a founding member of the NDC, emphasizing his service at various levels. He confirmed his intent to contest stemmed from a strong desire to contribute back to the party, which he credits for giving him opportunities to serve the nation. Despite the personal costs of his decade-long commitment, which sometimes strained his family life, Mr Vanderpuye reaffirmed his lifelong pledge to the party.

He highlighted the magnitude of his contributions compared to others in the party and expressed his intention to consolidate his efforts into a strategic leadership role, aiming to articulate the shared vision of the NDC effectively.
