Nii Lantey Vanderpuye confident of winning NDC chairmanship

Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, a former National Coordinator of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), confidently asserts his victory in the upcoming NDC chairmanship election. Mr. Vanderpuye attributes his optimism to his unwavering devotion to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and extensive service to the party. As a foundation member of the NDC, Mr. Vanderpuye has held various positions, from grassroots to Parliament, government, and even the presidency.

Reflecting on his personal faith, he quips, "At every time I go on my knees to pray, there is that joy that comes into me, and that gives me the sense of victory. I am sure I’m going to win the NDC chairmanship, no matter what."

Motivated by a desire to give back to the party, Mr. Vanderpuye emphasizes his decades-long involvement has often taken a toll on his family. Nonetheless, he remains steadfast in his commitment to the NDC, stating it has been a lifelong responsibility. He asserts that he has contributed more to the party than many others, leaving it to the other members to contemplate the breadth of his contributions.

With this in mind, Mr. Vanderpuye aims to crystallize his long-standing efforts by assuming the chairmanship, ensuring the NDC's shared vision is effectively articulated.
