Miss Ghana 2026 Receives Official Miss World Gift

The Diaspora Affairs Office at the Office of the President, in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority, has presented Miss Ghana 2026, Rumzia Sule, with an official charity auction gift ahead of the 75th Miss World Festival in Vietnam. The gift, inspired by Ghana's iconic Independence Arch, symbolizes the nation's heritage and is set to be showcased at the Miss World Charity Auction.

The event aims to support humanitarian initiatives of the Miss World Organisation. Kofi Okyere Darko, Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, congratulated Rumzia and the runners-up, urging her to represent Ghana with confidence and let the world experience the very best of the country. Gilbert Aggrey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, emphasized the significance of the Independence Arch, describing it as a symbol of freedom, resilience, and African leadership.

James Gardiner, Deputy CEO of the National Film Authority, encouraged Rumzia to remain confident and authentic during the competition. Rumzia Sule expressed her gratitude for the support received and pledged to represent Ghana with pride and honor its culture and traditions. The Miss Ghana Foundation Chair, Inna Patty, highlighted the importance of Ghana's participation in the Miss World Festival, noting that it offers a platform to promote the country's culture, tourism, creativity, and humanitarian efforts.

Rumzia Sule is set to depart for Vietnam in the coming days to join contestants from over 100 countries and territories for the 75th Miss World Festival.
