IFCA preseason poll: Brownsburg (6A), New Palestine (5A) local teams on top

The Indiana Football Coaches Association released its preseason high school football poll on Monday. The top teams in Class 6A football are Brownsburg and a tie between Carmel and Westfield. In Class 5A, New Palestine leads the pack, followed by a tie between Cathedral and another unnamed team. Class 4A is headed by East Central, closely followed by Roncalli and a tie between two unknown teams.

In Class 3A, Andrean is at the top, with Gibson Southern and Lawrenceburg right behind. Class 2A sees Brownstown Central leading the way, with Lutheran and Lapel tied for second place. Lastly, in Class 1A, Riverton Parke is the highest-ranked team, followed by Pioneer and South Adams.
