IFCA preseason poll: Brownsburg (6A), New Palestine (5A) local teams on top

The Indiana Football Coaches Association unveiled its preseason high school football poll on a recent Monday. In the 6A class, Brownsburg emerged at the top with a record of 0-0, earning 100 votes, followed by a tie between Carmel and Westfield, both receiving 77 votes. Center Grove and Warren Central also secured spots in the top 10, each with 63 votes.

In the 5A class, New Palestine led with a 0-0 record and 99 votes. Cathedral came in second with 90 votes. Other notable teams in the top 10 included Bloomington South with 72 votes, Lafayette Jeff with 62 votes, and Concord with 48 votes.
