Christopher Nolan's latest film, The Odyssey, has become his highest-grossing movie ever, grossing $1.104 billion worldwide in its first month of release. The epic, starring Matt Damon as Odysseus, surpassed his previous record-setter The Dark Knight Rises which earned $1.085 billion globally in 2012. The film also set a new milestone as the highest-grossing IMAX release of all time, generating $289.3 million globally from IMAX screenings alone.

With its success, Nolan's film career now totals over $7 billion worldwide, with the director's other movies such as Oppenheimer and The Dark Knight following close behind.
