Chief secretary to govt wishes Anwar happy 79th birthday

10th August — Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, took to Facebook to extend his best wishes to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his 79th birthday. He expressed his hope that the Prime Minister continues to enjoy good health, vigor, and wisdom while steering the nation. "Insha-Allah, civil servants will persistently champion the public service's aspirations and reform agenda for the benefit of the people and the country," he wrote.

The Prime Minister's Office echoed his sentiments via a Facebook video post, affirming that the government's endeavors persist, trust has been upheld, and all is placed in Allah SWT's hands. The Malaysia Madani Facebook page also chimed in, praying for the Prime Minister's perpetual protection under Allah SWT. They wished him, "Happy birthday, YAB PM. May you remain blessed with the fortitude to contribute significantly and work relentlessly for the country and the nation."
