Atletico’s Simeone ready to rely on Lee Kang-in’s versatility

Atletico Madrid's head coach Diego Simeone expressed confidence in the ability of new South Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in, who joined the Spanish club in late July. Simeone had his first opportunity to assess Lee during Atletico's 3-1 pre-season loss to Manchester City at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sunday. Lee made his debut with the team in the 63rd minute and showcased his versatility, displaying the ability to play on the wing, run through tight spaces between midfield and defense, and even act as a second striker.

Simeone praised Lee's adaptability, stating that his role will depend on the team's needs. While Lee's integration into the team is still in its early stages, Simeone emphasized that all players must develop a rhythm to play effectively in matches.
