Atletico Madrid coach Simeone ready to lean on Lee Kang-in's versatility

Atletico Madrid's head coach Diego Simeone expressed his intention to make use of the multifaceted skills of South Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in during the team's preseason match against Manchester City in Seoul on Sunday. Lee, who joined Atleti in late July, made his debut in the 63rd minute of the game. Despite the team ultimately losing by two goals, Simeone was impressed with Lee's performance, describing him as an "all-around player" capable of playing on the wing, operating between the opposing midfield and backline, and even functioning as a second striker.

Simeone emphasized that each player's position within the team will adapt based on the team's requirements. Although Lee had been training independently in Seoul prior to the match due to limited time to acclimate with his new teammates, Simeone noted that all players, including Lee, will need time to establish a rhythm during matches.

The coach reiterated that this applies to everyone, and the team's readiness in terms of physical conditioning is equally important.
