Umno Perlis mahu tanding solo, kritik kerajaan PN

Umno Perlis is preparing to stand alone in the upcoming Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) and Parliament elections, as per their state chief Rozabil Abd Rahman. The party has criticized the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government for failing to bring about development, and claims there have been no formal discussions with PN at the state level, despite efforts to connect.

Umno Perlis is focused on contesting solo, and the party is only interested in preparing to work in the 15 DUN and three Parliament constituencies. They have no intention of forming alliances for the upcoming elections. In the last election, Umno secured victories in all contested seats in both DUN and Parliament. Rozabil expressed confidence that Umno Perlis will continue to gain support based on the current reactions and trends among the people.

While the people of Perlis have given PN a chance to govern, there is no visible development, particularly in terms of job opportunities and the economy for the youth. They acknowledge that the previous Barisan Nasional (BN) government had shortcomings, but they believe the current administration is vastly different. Consequently, factions, including Women's Wing (JR) at each district headquarters, are mobilizing as if elections will take place at any moment, according to Rozabil.
