Russian attacks kill at least 13 people, injure 90 across Ukraine over past day

Over the past day, Russian attacks have claimed at least 13 lives and injured 90 others across Ukraine, according to local authorities. Ukrainian forces have successfully shot down 174 Shahed-type drones and five Banderol missiles, the Air Force reported. Russian missiles and drones targeted 22 locations, causing damage to six areas. The majority of attacks were focused on Odesa Oblast, where 12 people were injured, disrupting electricity and water supply in parts of the city.

In Kyiv Oblast, three individuals, including a three-year-old boy and his grandparents, were killed, with four others hospitalized, including the child's parents and a 15-year-old brother. Additionally, a man who attempted to help the family sustained injuries in a second strike. Russian forces also launched six ballistic missiles at civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, resulting in one death.

Kharkiv Oblast saw an attack on a high-rise residential building in the Saltivskyi district, destroying floors 7-10, killing three people, with two of them aged 50 and 66. In Donetsk Oblast, three people were killed and five others injured across Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Dobropillia, and other areas. Sumy Oblast witnessed three deaths and five injuries.

Kherson Oblast reported 10 injuries, including two children, following Russian attacks on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Zhytomyr Oblast recorded three injuries, with one hospitalized for burns. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast saw 11 people injured, including four children. Lastly, Zaporizhzhia Oblast experienced 974 attacks, resulting in two injuries, while Mykolaiv Oblast faced multiple drone attacks, with one person injured.
