Netanyahu rejects Gaza withdrawal plan until Hamas fully disarmed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly rejected a 15-point proposal for Israel to withdraw from Gaza, insisting that the Israeli military will not pull out until Hamas is fully disarmed. Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel rejects the proposal and that the military would only withdraw if Hamas "underwent what he described as 'real, not fictitious' disarmament, including all heavy and light weapons."

The Prime Minister also mentioned ongoing discussions with the United States regarding the issue, noting that some American proposals were acceptable while others were not. Netanyahu stressed that Israel would continue to act against threats to its forces and civilians, including recent strikes in Gaza that drew condemnation from Board of Peace diplomat Nickolay Mladenov.

The Israeli leader reiterated his opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state, stating that neither "Fatahstan nor Hamastan" would be established under his leadership. Netanyahu's stance comes after months of negotiations, which Israel was not part of, and could potentially lead to a conflict with US President Donald Trump, who has advocated for peace and reconstruction in Gaza.
