Ministry of Social Development and Family Launches Second Edition of Financial Awareness Program

The Ministry of Social Development and Family has introduced the second edition of its Financial Awareness Program, aiming to foster a culture of responsible financial management across society. This initiative focuses on teaching planning, saving, and spending management to enhance family stability and quality of life. The program aligns with the Third National Strategy (2024-2030) and reflects the ministry's commitment to reaching diverse societal segments through community partnerships.

A recent workshop titled "The Family Budget" was held in collaboration with the Investment and Trade Court and the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants. The event, led by accounting expert Abdulla Ahmed Al Mansoori, focused on equipping participants with essential skills for effective financial resource management within families.

Topics covered included family financial governance, budgeting, expense management, financial planning, teaching children about money, and promoting savings and investment. These efforts underscore the ministry's dedication to promoting financial literacy and building financially stable families capable of navigating future challenges.
