Jharkhand students warn of Aug 10 Assembly march

Ranchi - Jharkhand student leader Ravindra Paswan has warned of a large-scale assembly gherao on August 10 if their demands are not addressed. The protests against alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC examinations have been ongoing for 15 days, with Paswan leading an indefinite sit-in. Paswan claims the government has attempted to split the movement by accepting demands from other organizations.

He asserts that students remain united and are demanding cancellation of certain exams, a CBI investigation, reforms in the recruitment process, and a response to their evidence-backed demands. A meeting with a government delegation is scheduled for Sunday, and Paswan expects at least 50,000-100,000 students to participate in the Vidhan Sabha march on the 10th if their demands are not met.
