Iran to release footage of reclusive Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Iran's judiciary news agency has announced that video footage and documents of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in public settings and during meetings with military leaders will be released soon. This information was reported by Mizan news agency, which cited Basij deputy commander Qasem Qureshi. The agency stated that Khamenei, who has been reclusive and has not appeared in public since being appointed as Iran's Supreme Leader, will be shown in various public venues and during discussions with armed forces leaders in the forthcoming material.

The Supreme Leader's official website confirmed that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian recently met with Khamenei again. According to the website, the president and the Supreme Leader discussed numerous military and economic matters following Khamenei's first public appearance in five months, which occurred after heightened security measures had otherwise prevented him from being seen.

This was not the sole recent meeting; the president also convened with the Supreme Leader days prior in a car at an undisclosed location, where they conversed without shaking hands or viewing each other's faces.
