Bersatu cadang lapor pertikaian keahlian PN kepada JPPM

Party Bersatu aims to file a report with Malaysia's Societies Registration Board (JPPM) over its alleged expulsion from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, according to a statement by Bersatu Chairman Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz. PAS accuses Bersatu of betraying PN by not fulfilling its promise to form a new political coalition with other parties after the Ninth General Election.

PAS further alleges that PN and its highest council (MT) have repeatedly violated PN's constitution, including denying Bersatu members' rights. Tun Faisal asserts that PAS leader Hadi Awang has actual control over PN, while PN Chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar is portrayed as a puppet leader. He claims that PN now operates under the control of Rusila (PN's inner circle) and that Hadi can freely challenge and violate MT PN decisions as he pleases.

PAS argues that PN is not like PAS, which requires adherence to its constitution, fairness to members, and integrity. PAS further claims that PN has become dysfunctional, no longer operating as it originally intended, instead being manipulated by current leaders. Bersatu Deputy General Secretary Azmin Ali denies these accusations, emphasizing that there are no provisions in PN's constitution for an automatic loss of membership rights if a party decides to form a new coalition.
