Man City beat Atletico Madrid to foil Lee Kang-in's debut in Seoul

Manchester City secured a 3-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in a preseason match in Seoul on Sunday, preventing Korean star Lee Kang-in from making his Atleti debut in front of a crowd of around 50,000 spectators. The match took place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Atletico Madrid took the lead in the 43rd minute through teen defender Jorge Dominguez. However, Omar Marmoush equalized for Manchester City in the second half with two goals. The match concluded with Rayan Ait-Nouri adding the third goal for City in the late stages.

Lee Kang-in, who came on as a substitute for Rodrigo Mendoza in the 63rd minute, had a couple of shot attempts but was unable to impact the result of the game. Manchester City dominated the early stages of the match, utilizing their high pressing to create turnovers in the attacking zone. Brazilian right winger Bruno Savinho created several dangerous opportunities for City, including a left-footed shot from outside the box in the 23rd minute and a long shot after a run from the right side in the 33rd minute, both of which were saved by Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
