Amir leads farewell of Sultan of Oman

Doha, Qatar - The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani presided over the emotional farewell of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, as he departed from Hamad International Airport. Accompanying the Sultan were a delegation from the Amiri Hall and several key officials.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, along with Interior Minister and Commander of the Internal Security Force Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani, were among those bidding a fond farewell. Chief of the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Sheikh Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, also joined the group.

Other dignitaries present included Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al-Thani, Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Thani, State of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and several other members of the royal family. Additionally, Qatar's Ambassador to Oman, Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani, and Oman's Ambassador to Qatar, Sayyid Ammar bin Abdullah bin Sultan Albusaidi, were also present.
