Adam Adli jumpa Rauf bincang kerusi PRN Melaka, kata Fahmi

PKR Melaka has held several discussions with Malaysian Prime Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh as the party prepares for the PRN, according to Fahmi Fadzil, the party's press secretary. Fahmi stated that the party is currently in the process of identifying candidates and seats, in addition to holding consultations with all parties, including those from the Barisan Nasional (BN).

Rauf has expressed openness to discussing with any party. PKR Melaka's Adam Adli confirmed that he has held a few talks (with Rauf) when asked to comment on the party's preparations for the PRN in Melaka. Meanwhile, BN Secretary-General Zahid Hamidi said his faction is still open to discussions on seat distribution for the PRN in Melaka, including seat swaps, as long as they are done honestly and sincerely without diminishing the number of seats each party receives.

Zahid emphasized that the principle of discussion is that the winning seat for any party should be respected and not handed over to political allies. Fahmi welcomed the BN's openness to discussing this matter, noting that the talks are not just about Melaka but also the seats at the federal level. Further discussions will be handed over to Vice President Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who is currently acting as the acting president, and Election Commissioner Amirudin Shari.
