Nico Echavarria posts career-low 62 on Moving Day at Wyndham Championship

Nico Echavarria set a new career-low score of 62 during the third round of the Wyndham Championship, marking a significant improvement from his previous best of 63, which he achieved six times in his career. The Colombian golfer, currently ranked No. 44 in the FedExCup standings, began his scoring streak with an eagle at the fifth hole, followed by three birdies in his next four holes.

Echavarria, who played alongside eventual winner Cameron Young in last year's final pairing, described his eagle shot as "very good," as it helped him get the round started on the right foot. Echavarria finished the round at 11 under, one shot behind Beau Hossler's lead. This strong performance has motivated Echavarria to continue his positive 2026 campaign, which includes three T-10 finishes and a victory in early March.
