Ipswich sign midfielder Lukic from Fulham

Ipswich Town have secured the signing of Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic for an undisclosed fee, bringing the 29-year-old to the club on a deal until 2030. The Serbia international made 26 appearances in the Premier League last season and has expressed his excitement about playing at his new home. Lukic is the second player to join Ipswich this summer, following Morocco defender Issa Diop.

The 106-cap Serbian international began his career at Torino, where he made 168 appearances over seven seasons before moving to Fulham in January 2023. Lukic has won 62 caps for Serbia and participated in both the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 European Championship. Manager Gary O'Neill praised Lukic's experience, stating that the player will bring valuable wisdom to the squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
