Ipswich sign midfielder Lukic from Fulham

Ipswich Town has signed Serbian midfielder Sasa Lukic from Fulham on an undisclosed fee. The 29-year-old, who played 26 Premier League matches last season, has committed to the club until 2030. Lukic expressed his excitement about playing at his home ground, stating, "I can't wait to play here as a home player." This signing is the second from Fulham this summer, following Morocco defender Issa Diop's move to Ipswich.

Lukic joined Fulham from Torino in January 2023 and amassed a total of 106 appearances for the Cottagers during his tenure. He has praised the atmosphere at Portman Road, calling it one of the best he has experienced. Lukic has earned 62 caps for Serbia and participated in both the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 European Championship.

Ipswich manager Gary O'Neill emphasized Lukic's experience, noting that the 29-year-old knows the demands of the Premier League and has been a reliable performer throughout his career at Fulham. Prior to his move to Fulham, Lukic played 168 games for Torino over seven seasons, scoring 14 goals.
