The wind threatens to complicate the evolution of the fires in Tírig, in Castellón, and Niebla, in Huelva

With situation 2 of the Special Forest Fire Plan activated in Tírig (Castellón) and Niebla (Huelva), which involves the evolution of the fire possibly severely affecting forest assets and slightly affecting the population, requiring extraordinary means, the extinction teams are focused on fighting the flames, while the wind threatens to complicate the work in both territories.

A total of 24 aerial means, 275 personnel and 94 vehicles are working on the Andalusian forest fire, which has already affected 4,000 hectares and has 70 people evacuated. The Andalusian device Plan Infoca has reinforced the operation with four more aircraft, including helicopters, land-based cargo planes and amphibious aircraft capable of carrying up to 6,000 liters of water without needing to land.
