Wahl-O-Mat: Welche Partei bei der Landtagswahl in Sachsen-Anhalt zu Ihnen passt

On September 6, voters in Sachsen-Anhalt will choose a new Landtag. This upcoming election campaign focuses primarily on issues such as economy, education, migration, and internal security. To help individuals determine which party in Sachsen-Anhalt best aligns with their own views, the Wahl-O-Mat tool is available. This online questionnaire compares users' positions on various topics to those of the parties running for election.

Users can input their own stance on each issue and weigh the importance of certain answers. The Wahl-O-Mat then calculates which party's position most closely matches the user's own. However, it's important to note that the Wahl-O-Mat is merely a tool and not a recommendation for voting. The development of the Wahl-O-Mat's questions and answers is carried out by an independent team consisting of young voters from Sachsen-Anhalt, experts from academia, journalism, and education, and employees of the Federal Center for Political Education.

The team presents 80 questions to the participating parties, who then choose 38 questions for the Wahl-O-Mat. These questions cover key election topics and have prompted controversial responses from the parties. All permitted parties for the Landtag election are invited to participate in the Wahl-O-Mat.
