Afrobeats artist Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, made a surprise appearance at a campaign rally in Osun State ahead of the upcoming governorship election on August 15. The event, held on Thursday, saw Davido join his uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for a lively roadshow and rally. The video captured the moment both Davido and Governor Adeleke's son, Shina Adeleke, also known as Shina Rambo, joined the governor on stage.

Dressed in a traditional jalabiya, Davido struggled to climb over the barricade but eventually received assistance from supporters. Shina Rambo also needed help before he could join the governor. Once on stage, Governor Adeleke was seen dancing and singing along to Davido's hit song, "Feel," from his Grammy-nominated album, Timeless.

The duo entertained the crowd with an energetic dance, drawing enthusiastic cheers and further highlighting their close relationship. Davido had earlier appealed for a peaceful and credible election, urging voters to reject violence and intimidation. The governor, running on the Accord Party ticket, will face the All Progressives Congress candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, in the upcoming election.
