This Friday, the government will register requests for compulsory attendance and extraordinary attendance of ministers Fernando Grande-Marlaska, José Manuel Albares, Margarita Robles, and Félix Bolaños in the Congress to explain the migration crisis in Ceuta, where over 72,000 illegal migrants entered from Morocco. Sources from the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Cortes have informed that the ministers will appear at the end of August.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will preside over a teleconference coordination meeting with several ministers on the Ceuta situation on Friday. Sánchez has convened the meeting, to be held from his residence in Lanzarote, to address the situation's evolution in the autonomous city a week after his visit following the massive influx of people from Morocco.

The meeting will also include the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles; the Interior Minister, Fernando Grande Marlaska; the spokesperson for the Government and responsible for Inclusion, Social Security, and Migrations, Elma Saiz; and the minister for Youth and Childhood, Sira Rego. Additionally, Minister for Youth and Childhood, Sira Rego, will travel to Ceuta on Friday to continue working on the accommodation of unaccompanied migrant children and adolescents who remain in the city after the massive entry last Thursday.

Rego will hold meetings with Ceuta's President, Juan Jesús Vivas, with the Government Delegate in the City, Miguel Ángel Pérez, and other authorities, and will have discussions with child protection organizations.
