The Ministers of Defence, Interior, Justice, and Foreign Affairs, Margarita Robles, Fernando Grande Marlaska, Juan Carlos Bolaños, and José Manuel Albares respectively, will appear before Congress at the end of August to discuss the migration crisis in Ceuta.

The political pulse between the Government and the Popular Party over the Ceuta crisis is now being transferred to the explanations that the Executive will offer in the Cortes. The Government intends to give itself a few more days and appear as of next Tuesday, August 25. Sources from La Moncloa have announced that this Friday they will register in Congress the requests for appearances by the Ministers of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska; Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares; Defense, Margarita Robles; and Presidency and Justice, Félix Bolaños, before their respective commissions.

But the PP does not want to wait that long and has summoned Marlaska, Robles and Albares to the Senate, where it has an absolute majority, for next week. The Executive gives to understand that it will ignore these requests and that it will give precedence to those that it has requested for later in Congress.
