Furthermore, to refute UEFA's positions, the Confederations of North, Central America and Caribbean Football (Concacaf) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), which facilitated the withdrawal of Infantino's project, saw their counterpart organization, the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), release a statement on Thursday, in line with a previous Friday release titled 'Football First'.
