Car crashes into Kanchanaburi childcare centre, 15 children injured

A car collided with a childcare development centre in Kanchanaburi on August 7, resulting in 15 children being injured. All injured children were swiftly transported to a hospital and are reported to be safe. The Rattanavudh Foundation informed that the incident occurred at the Ban Nong Song Ton Child Development Centre in the Mueang district, prompting a rapid response from rescue workers, emergency medical teams, and the police.

A teacher confirmed that 34 children were present at the centre that day, of which 15 sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital, while the remaining 19 remained unharmed.

Emergency personnel promptly assessed the injured and provided first aid at the scene before transferring them to hospital. Traffic in the area was managed to facilitate the swift arrival of ambulances and rescue vehicles. The Rattanavudh Foundation urged motorists to yield to emergency vehicles and adhere to instructions from officials.

The cause of the crash remains undetermined, with further details anticipated following an investigation. Meanwhile, a separate school bus accident in Surin left all 57 passengers with minor injuries, with no serious harm or fatalities reported. The incident was swiftly treated by police and emergency personnel at the scene before transportation to the hospital.

Additional details emerged from another car crash in Pattaya, where a Thai man crashed his sedan into a resident's home, injuring three individuals. The homeowner's wife was trapped under debris after a wall collapsed on her, and rescuers spent over 30 minutes removing the fallen wall to free her.
