Van de Ven close to agreeing new Spurs contract

Micky van de Ven, the 25-year-old Netherlands defender, is reportedly nearing an agreement on a new five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur. Van de Ven, who joined from Wolfsburg in 2023, signed a six-year initial agreement that is set to last until 2029. According to BBC Sport, his decision to seek a new deal was influenced by the appointment of Roberto de Zerbi as manager in March.
