Reds starter back on injured list with sore elbow

Cincinnati Reds' starting pitcher Hunter Greene has returned to the injured list due to a sore right elbow. Greene was placed on the list on Wednesday following a bullpen session where he experienced discomfort in his elbow. Nick Krall, president of baseball operations, confirmed the news. Greene underwent right elbow surgery earlier in the season and missed most of the first half.

He is currently traveling to Los Angeles for a second opinion from a different medical professional. Greene is set to start against the Athletics on Thursday; however, there is no indication of how long he may be sidelined.
