Jalaluddin denies planning to oust Negeri Sembilan MB, remove ruler

Negeri Sembilan's Umno chief Jalaluddin Alias has refuted claims that he intends to remove Ismail Lasim as the state's menteri besar and remove Tuanku Muhriz as the ruler. The Pertang assemblyman dismissed these allegations as baseless, stating that he had even expressed his reluctance to join Ismail's state executive council. Jalaluddin stressed that his primary goal was to see BN regain control of Negeri Sembilan, and he expressed satisfaction with the Barisan Nasional government's return.

He denied involvement in any efforts to pressure Ismail into signing a document for the removal of Tuanku Muhriz, clarifying that his decision to withdraw support from Pakatan Harapan's Aminuddin Harun was based on a loss of confidence in the latter's ability to manage the state's issues. Jalaluddin affirmed his willingness to serve the people of Pertang if re-elected as their assemblyman, and he reiterated his support for Ismail in his new role.
