Survey says fans are hyped for the Pixel 11 Pro’s defining feature, but the doubters are loud

A recent reader poll has revealed that Pixel 11 Pro enthusiasts are eager to see the device's new Pixel Glow feature, though not everyone is as enthusiastic. The mysterious round LED light panel at the rear of the Pixel 11 Pro, currently called Pixel Glow, has sparked curiosity and debate among Android Authority readers. Roughly 45% of respondents are excited about the feature, calling it "great" and looking forward to its potential uses beyond simple notification alerts.

However, nearly 35.4% of readers are still undecided and await further details before forming an opinion. A small fraction of readers, under 20%, expressed dissatisfaction with the feature, finding it uninteresting or unnecessary. Some commented that the feature is just another way for devices to grab attention, while others suggested it would be more useful if integrated into other aspects, such as a matrix LED bar across the visor. Regardless of opinions, the Pixel 11 series is set to launch on August 12.
