Silver Lining Interactive launches first title from its development label Silver Bullet

Indie games publisher Silver Lining Interactive has unveiled its inaugural title from the development label it established, Silver Bullet. The new game, titled Mr Trippy, is characterized as a bold, offbeat, darkly comedic, and delightfully weird management simulator. Launched as an incubator program in August, Silver Bullet initially offered indie developers up to $100,000 in funding, along with publishing, marketing, QA, and porting assistance.

The label has since transformed into a dedicated IP development entity focused on crafting original, unconventional, and memorable gaming experiences.

CEO Luke Keighran attributed the team's enthusiasm to the constant exposure to exceptional creativity, leading to the conception of Mr Trippy. With the game now officially unveiled, Silver Bullet is poised to assert its presence as the company's in-house IP label. The label continues to have other projects in development and aims to establish its unique identity within the indie games sector.

Silver Lining Interactive was founded in January 2025 following the dissolution of Merge Games in 2024. Co-founders Luke and Joanne Keighran acquired various assets from the shuttered publisher before launching Silver Lining Interactive. In a recent interview, Luke Keighran expressed the company's ambition to find gaps in the marketplace where they believe they can establish a niche.

He emphasized the importance of diversity in publishing, acknowledging that not all games achieve super success, but some can be incredibly powerful.
