Zelenskyy condemns Russian drone hunt targeting vegetable vendor in Kherson

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denounced a Russian drone attack on an Aug. 4 video, which depicted a drone targeting a civilian selling vegetables in Kherson. The drone struck the man, causing injuries, and Russian officials acknowledged the atrocity. Zelenskyy claimed that these daily "drone safaris" against civilians prove Russia's madness and urged the world to act.

He called for international cooperation to establish security guarantees and end the war. Local authorities identified the victim as Yurii, who had come to sell produce with his wife. Despite his injuries, Yurii survived, though his life was not in immediate danger.
