PM Wong to deliver National Day message on Aug 8

Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will deliver his National Day message on August 8, the evening prior to the country's National Day celebrations. This will mark Wong's third National Day address since assuming office on May 15, 2024. According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Wong, who serves as Finance Minister, will present his message in English at 6:45 PM on the CNA news channel. The address will also be aired on radio stations Money FM 89.3 and CNA938.

Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister Gan Kim Yong will deliver his message in Mandarin at 7 PM on Channel 8 and Capital 95.8FM. Meanwhile, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State for Defence Zaqy Mohamad will provide his address in Malay at 8:30 PM on the Suria channel. Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower Minister Dinesh Vasu Dash will speak in Tamil at 9 PM on Vasantham and Oli 96.8FM.

All four National Day addresses, available in English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil, will be accessible on the PMO's website and YouTube channel following the initial broadcasts.
