'Look at PM CARES Fund too': CJP hits back after RTI activist questions Abhijeet Dipke's US education

After receiving a Right to Information (RTI) inquiry regarding the finances related to the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and Abhijeet Dipke's education in the United States, the online platform has asked for an investigation into the Prime Minister's Cares Fund (PM CARES Fund). RTI activist Amit Tiwari, based in Surat, questioned how a retired government employee, Bhagwanrao Dipke, could afford his children's education in the US, given his salary as a Junior Engineer at MIDC.

Tiwari alleged that Bhagwanrao Dipke, who is the father of CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, received a salary of ₹60,000-65,000 and was still able to fund his children's education abroad. Abhijeet Dipke responded to the accusations during an interview with journalist Barkha Dutt, stating that he attended Boston University on a scholarship and that he also took out a loan to repay.

CJP spokesperson Vaishnavi Gaur accused Tiwari of targeting a private individual and suggested that the activist should also investigate the PM CARES Fund. The PM CARES Fund was established in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. However, the government maintains that the fund is not open to queries and that it is funded by voluntary contributions and not by state budgets.
