Will Abhijeet Dipke enter politics? Cockroach Janta Party founder answers big question

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has firmly denied suggestions that he plans to formally enter politics or transform his party into a political entity. Dipke contends that the populace has lost trust in political systems, and hence, the nation requires a public movement rather than a political party. Asserting that political parties are being dismantled by central agencies like the ED and CBI, Dipke questioned the purpose of forming a political party when people have lost faith in politics, the judiciary, and the media.

The CJP emerged as a social media movement in May, following a controversy over CJI Surya Kant's use of the term "cockroaches" to describe certain youths, which sparked widespread outrage. The movement, which quickly gained momentum, led to large-scale protests against the NEET paper leak at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, resulting in the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

A two-day strategy meeting of the CJP's core team is scheduled for August 5 and 6 in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where the party members will deliberate on the movement's future direction. During a recent statement on X, CJP emphasized its intention to engage with stakeholders and conduct a nationwide listening tour to understand the ground realities and aspirations of the youth.
