Fulham sign Garcia and Palacios from Real Madrid

Fulham have secured the signing of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Spanish giants Real Madrid. The £34m deal sees the 22-year-old forward reuniting with new manager Alvaro Arbeloa, who he worked alongside at the Bernabeu. Garcia, who has made 39 appearances for Real last season, scoring eight goals in all competitions, expressed his gratitude to the board and Arbeloa for the trust placed in him, adding that he is excited to start his new chapter at Fulham.

Joining him at Craven Cottage is 21-year-old attacking midfielder Palacios, who has made only five appearances for Real but has represented Spain at under-20 level. Both players have contracts until the summer of 2031, with the option for the club to extend their deals by an additional 12 months.
