Fulham sign Garcia and Palacios from Real Madrid

Fulham have secured the signatures of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, committing the duo to the English club on multi-year contracts. Garcia, a 22-year-old forward, will join the team on a five-year deal, while Palacios, a 21-year-old attacking midfielder, commits to a similar duration. The reported transfer fee for the pair stands at around £34 million, linking them with Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa, who was previously associated with Garcia during their time at the Real Madrid.

Garcia, who made 39 appearances and scored eight goals for Real Madrid last season, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join the team and his excitement to start his new career. Palacios, who made only five appearances for Real Madrid's first team, will also start his professional journey at Fulham, with the option for the club to extend both contracts by an additional 12 months.
