Packers returning CB Kamal Hadden from last season's significant injury

The Green Bay Packers have announced they will activate cornerback Kamal Hadden from the physically unable to perform list on Sunday, marking his return after a significant injury last season. Hadden suffered a severe ankle injury while trying to tackle the Baltimore Ravens on December 27th, which prevented him from attending the offseason workout program and the initial three practices of the new training camp.

Since the injury, the Packers have seen Hadden mature and demonstrate a strong work ethic, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. LaFleur expressed confidence in Hadden's ability to return to form, stating that he has tackled the recovery process in the right way. Hadden, who was part of the 53-man roster at the beginning of last season, will rejoin the competitive group at cornerback.

The Packers lost defensive cornerback Nate Hobbs but bolstered their defense with veteran Benjamin St-Juste, as well as rookie draft picks Brandon Cisse and Domani Jackson. Last season, Hadden played in 10 games, recording 37 defensive snaps and 66 special teams snaps, contributing with five total tackles.
