Big day for Travis Hunter at Jaguars 4th training camp practice

John Shipley of Jaguars on SI reported that Hunter recorded an interception at cornerback in an 11-on-11 drill. ESPN's Travis Holmes noted that Hunter jumped over the outside shoulder of Quintin Morris to make the play and returned it to the 20-yard line, despite a challenging situation.

Following the interception, Hunter quickly demonstrated his prowess as a wide receiver by making a contested catch downfield, a play Shipley described as "awesome to see." Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski praised Hunter's infectious energy, stating that it positively affects not only the receivers but also the offensive line coaches.

Udinski highlighted Hunter's improvement in route fundamentals, technique, knowledge of the offense, and system understanding. Hunter also showcased his ability to generate significant yardage after a catch during a different team period. Offensive coordinator Udinski emphasized that Hunter adds so much to the team, with his remarkable energy, play style, and the ability to create something special when he has the ball.

In a single practice, Hunter generated three high-impact plays, including two explosive receptions at wideout and an interception at cornerback, highlighting his versatility and impact on the Jaguars' offense.
