Bournemouth close in on £11.1m Juanlu

Bournemouth are on the verge of finalizing a £11.1 million deal for Sevilla right-back Juanlu, as their new manager Marco Rose finalizes his squad ahead of the Europa League season. The 22-year-old Spanish defender will initially cost £9.4 million, with additional £1.7 million in potential add-ons. Juanlu, known for his towering stature and attacking capabilities, boasts considerable experience at the youth level for his age.

His move to the south coast is expected to be completed on a long-term contract. This potential signing marks the Cherries' third acquisition this summer, following the £26.6 million signing of Antonio Silva from Benfica and the £25.7 million addition of striker Alvaro Rodriguez from Elche. Rose's primary focus now is on securing a new number two goalkeeper to challenge Djordje Petrovic.

Sevilla has shown interest in Bournemouth's striker Enes Unal, but the Turkey international also has alternatives in Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, star trio Eli Junior Kroupi, Rayan, and Alex Scott remain off the market, according to sources at the Vitality Stadium.
