Varun Dhawan on how fatherhood has changed his mornings: ‘Natasha and I are almost like fielders’
Varun Dhawan discussed how fatherhood has altered his morning routine in an episode of Koffee with Karan. Previously, he enjoyed more solitude in the morning, but now his two-year-old daughter Natasha keeps him busy with her energetic antics. Natasha and Dhawan now take turns being the "fielders" as the toddler runs around, but he finds the experience joyous.
The simplicity of observing a child's actions can provide a form of therapy for parents, according to Dr. Chandni Tugnait, a psychotherapist and life coach. She explains that children's slow pace and complete focus on simple tasks help calm adults down, reset their minds, and reignite a sense of wonder. These everyday moments allow parents to appreciate clear wins, rediscover curiosity, and enjoy a brief respite from the constant need to correct and guide.
Tugnait emphasizes that accepting these moments of mindfulness doesn't require turning every situation into a therapy session; simply slowing down and being present with one's child can have a profound impact on emotional well-being.
