Solapur Road Accident: 8-Year-Old Boy, Grandparents Killed As Kalyan Family's Car Collides With Container Truck

Kalyan: A family returning home from their pilgrimage to Akkalkot experienced a devastating accident on Friday afternoon, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives and leaving two others critically injured. The eight-year-old victim, Parth Tushar Bharambe, along with his grandparents, Vilas Changu Bharambe and Shobha Vilas Bharambe, were killed when their car collided head-on with a container truck near Solapur district.

The Bharambe family had departed Kalyan early Friday morning to visit the Swami Samarth temple. As they traveled along the route between the villages of Shetphal and Telangwadi in Mohol taluka, a head-on collision with the container truck proved fatal. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was severely damaged, trapping the occupants inside.

Neighbors arrived on the scene and informed the police and emergency services. Despite efforts by local residents to extricate the injured passengers, Parth and his grandparents succumbed to their injuries before reaching the hospital. Hospitalized parents Tushar Vilas Bharambe and Poonam Tushar Bharambe remain in critical condition, undergoing treatment at a nearby government hospital.

Police have arrived at the accident site to gather information and begin an investigation into the cause of the collision.
