Sampath Bank has teamed up with Mastercard to introduce two premium credit card options specifically for members of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka). These new credit cards, the Sampath CPM Sri Lanka Platinum and World Mastercard, come with a host of attractive benefits tailored for professional members.

Both cards accept payments worldwide through Mastercard, and offer members SampathCards Ultra Rewards Points. Additional perks include up to USD 100,000 in overseas travel insurance, contactless payments, and the option for flexible payment plans. Sampath Bank's Chief Business Intelligence Officer, Darshin Pathinayake, explained that the goal is to create financial products that meet the changing needs of different customer groups.

The World Mastercard provides access to global airport lounges, along with various travel and lifestyle advantages. Meanwhile, the Platinum card includes perks such as international golf privileges, and offers members the choice of an optional life insurance cover up to LKR 1.5 million, depending on the premium they choose. Both cards feature pre-approved credit limits that match the members' status as CPM Sri Lanka professionals, subject to the bank's credit assessment and policies.

Notably, the first-year annual fee is waived on both cards, and cardholders of the World Mastercard also benefit from a waived joining fee. Mastercard's Country Manager, Mahesha Amarasuriya, noted that today's professionals look for payment solutions that fit well with their connected lifestyles, offering security, convenience, and real value.

CPM Sri Lanka's Founder and President, Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, stated that this partnership recognizes the professional evolution of its members, offering a tailored financial package that acknowledges their position while providing practical benefits to aid both their personal and professional growth. To learn more about eligibility, applications, and the terms and conditions, interested members can reach out to the SampathCards Centre or visit their nearest Sampath Bank branch.
