Russia Cracks Down on Those Questioning pro-Putin Poll Results
Political scientist Alexander Kynev and environmental activist Dmitry Morozov were arrested on drug charges in Russia after publicly alleging fraud in the September parliamentary elections. Relatives and defense lawyers stated that security services beat both men, subjecting Morozov to electric shocks and inflicting a double leg fracture on Kynev.
