Iran declares military stronger, warns US against fresh attacks

Iran's military capabilities have advanced since the start of its conflict with the United States and Israel, according to a declaration made on Saturday. This followed the release of a $20 million bounty by the U.S. for information regarding Tehran's nuclear program. International negotiators continue to work towards averting renewed hostilities following a prolonged stalemate in the Middle East, which began in late February when the U.S. and Israel initiated attacks on Iran.

Iran has continued to enforce limitations on passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial shipping route responsible for around one-fifth of global oil transportation. Mohammad Akraminia, a spokesperson for the Iranian Army, affirmed Tehran's control over the vital waterway and indicated that it would only be reopened if Washington addressed Tehran's demands.

He stated that Iran's armed forces had become more prepared and confident following the months of confrontation with American and Israeli forces. "Having gained experience from confrontation with the United States and the Israeli regime, today the Islamic Republic's armed forces are on higher alert and stronger than they were at the beginning of the war," he asserted.

Akraminia emphasized that Iran's response to any attack would not be geographically bounded, as they are ready to act upon the Supreme Leader's directive. "Under the order of the Supreme Leader, the response of the armed forces will be immediate, effective, and without geographical limitations," he added.
