Ravens Make History Nobody Wants After Jaguars Beatdown
The Baltimore Ravens have an unenviable situation at quarterback, and a historic anecdote only makes it worse. The Baltimore Ravens found themselves in an unprecedented and undesirable position following their Week 9 Thursday Night Football loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, a loss that solidified a historic streak for the team. The Ravens have become the first NFL squad since 1960 to begin three consecutive games with three different quarterbacks and lose all three contests by a margin of 20 points or more.
This unfortunate scenario began on October 26, 2026, when the Ravens fell to the Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 35-13, as Lamar Jackson was recovering from an ankle injury and Tyler Huntley took the field. However, Huntley suffered a toe injury, prompting the team to rely on third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano, who led the team to a 36-10 defeat against the Buffalo Bills.
The latest setback occurred on Thursday, November 1, 2026, when Fagnano started for the Ravens against the Jaguars, and the team once again suffered a crushing loss, this time with a final score of 33-10. With this latest loss, the Ravens are poised to start a third quarterback in their next game, Arizona Cardinals' Jacoby Brissett, as they strive to overcome their challenging quarterback situation and regain their winning momentum.
